Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy covers this website, emails you send us, and purchases you make on the web. Each app has its own privacy policy that explains what the app itself does with your data:
Who we are
Holo Labs is run by Ruben Dewitte, based in the Netherlands. We are the controller for the data described here. Contact: rubendewitte1998@gmail.com.
This website
This website has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handles each request and may briefly keep technical logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and safe.
If you email us, we use your email address and your message to answer you. We keep the conversation as long as needed to help you, and for at most two years after it ends, unless we need it longer for a refund or legal claim.
Web purchases
When you buy a subscription or make a donation on the web:
- Stripe handles the payment. Stripe receives your card details, email address and billing country. We never see your full card number.
- RevenueCat keeps track of what you bought, so the app knows to unlock it. It receives your app account ID and purchase details.
- We keep records of purchases and refunds for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
We use this data to carry out the purchase you asked for (contract) and to meet our legal obligations. Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps go through Apple or Google, and their privacy policies apply to the payment.
Who else receives data
Only the providers named above, who process it for us under data processing agreements: Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), RevenueCat (purchase records) and Google (email). Some of them are based in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and you can object to or limit how we use it. Email us and we'll answer within a month. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes that affect you, we'll let you know by email or in the app.
